Budget:
Thanks to the credits I can tell that the budget is huge. The credits alone lasts 7 minutes with plenty of names. All the departments had at least 40 seconds each which means that the budget is obviously a 9 digit number.

Online Research:
From research conducted online the film iRobot had a budget of 130 Million dollars.

iRobot has 5 main locations for filming which are
  • Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
  • New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Just by the location used we can also withdraw the kind of budget that it needed in order to film in these places.

  1. This is some very useful information and you have clearly completed research into the film and its budget. You need to give it the title of Pre-production and Budget Research for I - Robot and you need to write an introduction explaining what you had to do for this task.

For revision over the winter holiday you should look at finding any pre-production anecdotes, and write a conclusion explaining how the budget of this film had an impact upon the pre-production stage. Mrs E.
