Flat Plan:

A flat plan is used to show a clear idea for what the client wants and helps visualise the product as a whole. Specifically done for magazines and newspapers.

Prototypes:

They are cheap version and a recreation of the actual product. This is done to show if the product would be practical and to see if it suits the customers expectations. Before a prototype is made using anthropometric data before its finalised.

Mock ups:

Mocks ups are a visual tool that allow clients to see ideas of how a product can be designed in many ways. To test a product, it can be mocked up in many forms to visualise a final design on a different surface or platform.
